      Deploying network facets and assets

      Deploy the facets

      After creating your three initial vaults (for more information see here), you will need to register them in the "PM Network Management" dApp. This action will deploy smart contracts associated with each address, activating their functionality within the network.

      Please note: This setup is a one-time process that you won’t need to repeat in the future

      To register your vaults, follow the steps below:

      1. Connect to the PM Network VPN
      2. Go to “Apps” in the Left-hand menu
      3. Click "Connect" on the PM network management button (this may take a few seconds)

      4. On the "Network Management" page

        1. Click the gear icon

        2. Select "Deploy Facets" from the drop-down menu

      5. You will be redirected to the "io.network Configuration" page. Paste the addresses of the three vaults you previously created:

        1. Admin
        2. Operations
        3. Governance
      6. Click "Deploy Facets" to complete the registration of your vaults
      7. To complete the setup, click “Finish”

      Please note: ensure that you have entered the correct addresses aligned with the vaults previously created, before moving on to the next step

      Deploy the asset

      Please note: The asset name and currency symbol can be freely chosen. However, if you are creating multiple assets, ensure that each one has a unique name and symbol for easy identification.

      To create assets follow the steps below:

      1.  Go to “Deploy Asset” 

      2. In the “Deploy New Asset Currency” section, fill in the following required fields:

        1. Currency Name
        2. Currency Symbol
      3. Click “Deploy Currency Contract” to finalize the asset creation process
      4. To complete the creation, click “Finish”
      5. Your token has now been successfully created and is ready for minting and burning. It will be visible on the “Network Management” main page

      Important: please contact the customer office team at io.finnet, to configure the token’s value at time of setup

      Manage the asset/s

      After you have added your asset to the PM network dApp, you will need to present the asset in the operations vault. Follow the below steps to perform this task:

      1. Click into the vault you want to see the asset against (You should do this the operations vault)
      2. Choose "Manage assets" from the middle of the screen 
      3. Search for your new asset 
      4. Click show to bring this into your vault homepage view
